This is the only region where we have both a youth and adult group. The main crops in the Coachella Valley are dates and citrus. This region covers Mecca, Indio, Coachella and Thermal.  On June 4, 2019, thanks to the work and impact of the Coachella youth and adult chapters of Líderes Campesinas, we were recognized as one of the 2019 California Nonprofits of the year.  An honor to be nominatedby Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia of the 56th District of California.

This region consists of Ventura, Santa Paula and Oxnard which is currently where our main office is located. The main crop in this area is the strawberries.

South Kern Chapter covers Bakersfield and Arvin.  The main crops are grapes, almonds and citrus.

Delano, Wasco, Lost Hills, Lamont and part of Bakersfield.  Dairy industry is huge is this area and Delano is known for it’s table grapes.

Fresno, located in the Central Valley, is known for it’s wine grapes, table grapes and raisins as well as almonds and dairy.

The Central Coast covers the area of Santa María, Santa Bárbara, and Lompoc.  The main crops of the area are berries, brócoli, and grapes.  

    In June, the Santa Bárbara Action Network and the county recognized our Central Coast Chapter with the “Working Families Award”.  And they were also awarded for their work and dedication to women victims of violence earlier this year.

Sonoma is famous for it’s wine grapes as well as nuts and fruits.
